The British Greyhound Racing Fund is the official funding body for NGRC licensed greyhound racing in Britain. The Fund covers all aspects of integrity, welfare and development of the sport.
Since 1992, when the Fund was set up, over £28m has been collected and distributed to the sport. In 2006, the BGRF expects to collect around £11.5m from bookmakers’ contributions. This money will be invested in the sport across a wide range of projects aimed at improvement and promotion of greyhound racing.
The Fund has played an impartial role in making greyhound racing the great success it is today and looks forward to a bright future.
